Our team members, Toni Küttner and Martin Raack, took part in the GDP conference in Gotha, which was organized by PTS Training Service. Toni Küttner’s presentation on “Choosing the optimal thermal packaging” addressed the challenges of maintaining the integrity of medicinal products within complex supply chains.
In today’s dynamic landscape, GDP compliance is critical even in the ‘small’ wholesale sector as supply chains become more complex and counterfeiting threats persist. GDP compliance at every link in the chain, from transportation to distribution, is critical to product quality and complements Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
The GDP conference provided a comprehensive platform to deepen our understanding of this critical element of the pharmaceutical industry. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with inspectors and industry experts.
A highlight of the conference was the opportunity to visit the PHOENIX Pharmahandel GmbH & Co KG distribution center in Gotha. This impressive facility, which was built in 2017 and covers an area of 10,000 square meters, showcases state-of-the-art technology and best practices in pharmaceutical distribution.
Valuable insights gained! We look forward to applying this knowledge in our daily operations.
