Flexible Cooling Mat – 6 or 30 Chambers

Flexible cooling mat · water-filled segmented refrigerant mat for thermal packaging

The movable sections between the chambers allow the mat to be arranged even after freezing. The standard Small and Large formats have six and 30 cooling chambers respectively; custom sizes are available on request. The water-based filling has a phase transition at about 0 °C.

Small · 6 chambers SKU 14028 · 155 × 130 × 10 mm · 75 g
Large · 30 chambers SKU 14029 · 380 × 250 × 10 mm · 390 g
Custom size Dimensions and design on request

Delivery unit and minimum order: Small is supplied on a pallet of 1,330 pieces and Large on a pallet of 855 pieces. The minimum order is one pallet for either format.

Application: The mats are intended for flexible pack-outs in suitably designed thermal packaging. Bending takes place between the chambers; the frozen filling inside each chamber remains solid. The cooling mats are reusable and suitable for direct food contact. Check their condition before every use.

Preconditioning: Freezing temperature and duration depend on the complete packaging system and its defined packing instructions. A validated shipping duration cannot be derived from the cooling mat alone.

See flexible cooling mats for further details on the design and sizes. For a tested combination of packaging, cooling elements and packing instructions, choose a pre-qualified system. If a different phase-change range is required, compare our PCM packs.
