Foam Bricks · dimensionally stable cooling elements for thermal packaging
The foam core keeps each cooling element dimensionally stable when frozen and supports repeatable positioning, including in the pockets of suitably designed system boxes. The robust PA/PE composite film and foam core reduce the free release of filling if the film is damaged. This product page offers selectable versions with melting points of 0 or −21 °C.

Selection guidance: Water-based Foam Bricks at 0 °C are intended for fresh-product shipping and can be used for goods at +2 to +8 °C in suitably designed systems. PCM −21 Foam Bricks are intended for selected frozen applications, for example in the −15 to −25 °C range. The coolant melting point is not the product temperature.
Dry ice and dangerous-goods note: PCM −21 can be a reusable alternative to dry ice in selected applications. The cooling element itself is not classified as dangerous goods; this does not determine the classification of the complete shipment.
Application and preconditioning: Pack-out, preparation and any reuse depend on the complete packaging system and its defined packing instructions. Check the film and condition before every use. A validated shipping duration cannot be derived from the Foam Brick alone.
