Choose your Foam Brick
Both options feature a shape-stable, leakproof foam core and consistent heat absorption. Explore the standard weights and dimensions below.
Foam Brick · 0 °C
A water-based coolant pack with a durable PA/PE composite film, suitable for repeated use. Custom shapes and sizes are available.
Foam Brick −21 °C
A non-toxic coolant pack for frozen food shipping and a safe alternative to dry ice. Store it in a freezer at −30 °C and reuse it repeatedly.
FOAM CORE / DURABLE FILM
Built to hold its shape.
The foam core absorbs the coolant and keeps the pack dimensionally stable in both frozen and thawed states. It provides consistent heat absorption and remains leakproof even if the outer film is damaged.
The durable PA/PE composite film makes Foam Bricks suitable for repeated use. Custom shapes can also be produced to fit your packaging.
All Foam Bricks are non-toxic and approved for direct food contact under EU directives.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions about Foam Bricks
What is a Foam Brick?
A Foam Brick is a coolant pack with a foam core inside a film pouch. The core absorbs the coolant and keeps the pack’s shape when frozen or thawed. The two options are the water-based Foam Brick and Foam Brick −21.
How long do Foam Bricks keep products cool?
There is no single cooling duration for every shipment. The coolant, pack weight, insulated shipper, payload, preconditioning, and ambient temperatures all affect performance. Evaluate shipping duration for the complete packout.
Can Foam Bricks be reused?
Yes. Foam Bricks have a durable PA/PE composite film and can be used repeatedly. Before reuse, check that the film and seals are intact and follow the handling and hygiene requirements for your application.
What information do you need for a custom size?
Please provide the available internal dimensions or a packaging drawing, required temperature, shipping duration, ambient conditions, and planned quantity. For custom film printing, include your artwork requirements. Availability depends on order quantity.
How should Foam Bricks be disposed of?
Follow the disposal instructions for the supplied product and local waste requirements. The foam core, film, and coolant should not be assumed to form a single recyclable material.
