Medi Line reusable insulated shippers
A pre-qualified, reusable insulated shipper for highly sensitive, temperature-critical products. A durable HDPE outer container, VIP insulation and PCM coolant packs work together for reliable transport and convenient product access.
Built around the complete handling process
Protect sensitive products
An HDPE outer container, vacuum insulated panels and PCM coolant packs combine mechanical protection with thermal performance.
Keep handling simple
Open the lid for direct product access. A consistent packing process supports efficient preparation, transport and unloading.
Cover three temperature ranges
Pre-qualified configurations support frozen, refrigerated and controlled room temperature applications.
Two sizes: Medium and Large
Choose the required payload volume, then select the temperature configuration. Both sizes are tested in THERMOCON environmental chambers against the ISTA 7E temperature profile with an empty product space as the stated worst-case test condition.

Practical details for repeated use
Durable HDPE outer container
PCM coolant packs
Vacuum insulation
Year-round packing process
Stackable containers
Sealable closures
Direct product access
Hygienic inner tray
Three components. One thermal system.
HDPE outer container
The durable, impact-resistant shell protects the contents during handling. Sturdy, sealable closures support security, and the container is easy to clean.
Vacuum insulated panels
VIPs reduce heat exchange and support consistent thermal performance under demanding ambient conditions.
Phase change material
PCM coolant packs melt and solidify at defined temperatures, absorbing or releasing heat to support temperature control.
Easy access. A consistent packing process.
The VIP lid is integrated into the outer lid, so products are accessible as soon as the shipper is opened. There are no loose lid components to remove. Carrying handles, stackability and the hygienic inner tray support day-to-day handling.
Standard coolant packs fit both sizes. The packout and preconditioning process remain the same in summer and winter for the selected configuration.
Applications for sensitive products
The robust outer container, insulation and coolant packs support reliable transport of samples, medications and laboratory materials.
Last-mile transport
Temperature control through the final stage of delivery.
Clinical trials
Thermal protection for sensitive samples and medications.
Vaccines and medications
Controlled conditions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.
Internal hospital transport
Transport of sensitive medications and samples within hospitals.
Veterinary medicine
Insulated transport for vaccines and medications in mobile and stationary veterinary practice.
Water and soil samples
Stable temperatures from sample collection to analysis.
Thermal performance under defined test conditions
Medi Line is tested in THERMOCON’s own environmental chambers with an empty product space. Individual qualification for your shipping requirements or temperature range is available on request.

Questions about Medi Line
Which sizes are available?
Medi Line Medium provides approximately 6 L of usable product space. Medi Line Large provides approximately 18 L. See the technical data for dimensions and empty weights.
Which temperatures can Medi Line support?
The listed configurations cover frozen shipments below −15 °C, refrigerated shipments at +2 to +8 °C, and controlled room temperature shipments at +15 to +25 °C.
Do summer and winter require different packing steps?
The selected Medi Line configuration uses the same packout and preconditioning process in summer and winter. Follow the instructions for that configuration.
Can I access the products directly?
Yes. The VIP lid is integrated into the outer lid, giving direct access when the shipper is opened.
Do the listed durations apply to every route?
They describe the stated tested configurations and conditions. Review your payload, shipping profile and handling process. Multi-stop delivery or repeated opening requires its own assessment.
Can the system be qualified for a specific application?
Yes. THERMOCON can discuss individual testing against your shipping requirements and temperature range.
