FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about Dry Ice Line

How do I select a packout?

Match the tested payload, required product temperature, dry ice quantity and shipping duration to your application. The table lists multiple configurations for some shipper models.

Why does one model have more than one duration?

Payload and dry ice quantity differ between configurations. A duration belongs to the complete stated packout, not to the EPS container alone.

Can the packout be tested for my shipping requirements?

Yes. THERMOCON can discuss individual qualification for your shipping profile, payload and temperature range.

Can coolant packs replace dry ice?

They may be an option for suitable frozen applications. Compare the product temperature and complete packaging configuration before changing the coolant.
