Styrofoam insulated packaging and sustainability

Conventional Styrofoam is made from fossil-based raw materials. In contrast, THERMOCON recycled Styrofoam boxes are produced using up to 35% recycled materials. The key advantage of this process: since all subsequent manufacturing steps remain identical, the thermal and mechanical properties of the material are unchanged – while achieving a significant CO₂ reduction compared to traditional Styrofoam. Additionally, Styrofoam boxes are 100% recyclable, unlike coated cardboard or paper packaging, which often cannot be recycled due to mixed materials.
